Progressive Coalition: New Jobs Plan Compromise “Unacceptable”

Washington, DC – Today, Claire Guzdar, campaign manager and spokesperson for ProsperUS—a coalition of 80 major progressive labor, grassroots, movement, faith-based, small business, and policy organizations at the state, local, and national levels—released the following statement in response to the Biden Administration’s updated infrastructure proposal. 

“A second best compromise with Senate Republicans is totally unacceptable while millions across the country are unemployed and struggling to survive in a deadly pandemic,” says Claire Guzdar, spokesperson for the 80 member ProsperUS coalition.
